We understand that this time of year really is tight for everyone, but we are still appealing for your help! If you can spare even just £1, we now have over 5500 followers on the page – if even half could donate £1, or even just 50p, it would go a long way towards ensuring the survival of Lamont Farm. We receive minimal grants from other bodies, so really do rely on donations to continue to meet all running costs and continue to care for the wide variety of animals here on the Farm.
The cost of everything is increasing, food/bedding/electricity/gas amongst some of the major costs, and we also have large vet bills that need to be paid. Can you help? Please donate what you can, every little really does help!
You can donate by paypal (email@example.com), bank transfer (please PM us to be sent details), cash if you pop into the Farm or cheque (made payable to Lamont Farm Project). Or does your workplace fundraise for a nominated charity? Why not see if they could do a fundraiser for Lamont Farm!
You can also pay money directly towards our vet bill, please PM us if you would like details on how to do this.
The maintenance work at the farm is never-ending so we are always looking for help from anyone who is willing to donate their time and skills.
If there are any colleges that need an on-site training ground for up and coming joiners, plumbers, electricians; then Lamont Farm is the place for you!! Examples of some of the work done previously are –
Two lean-to’s built.
The lights looked at in the main barn.
Showerwall put up in the ladies toilet.
A window put in the barn.
This could also be a good opportunity for any building/plumbing firms for on-site training for apprentices!!?? Or if you just want to donate your time, any help will be much appreciated. 🙂
Please contact the farm on 0141 812 5335 , email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a message via our Facebook page if you can help.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
We are looking for a kind hearted Gardener to come and strim our weeds. We will pay for any for any petrol used by your strimmer and keep you supplied with cups of tea. We know from past experience that a domestic strimmer is no use for this job, so we really need a self-employed gardener or a Company to do this work for us. If you can help please call us on 0141 812 5335, email us at email@example.com or message us on our Facebook Page. Thankyou.
We are looking for new people to join the Lamont Farm Committee. If you feel that you have the time to commit to this then please PM for further information.
We are looking for people that will actively be involved with the continual fundraising and other tasks/decisions that will ensure the Farm can continue to run for many years to come, and interviews will be conducted by the Chairperson. You don’t necessarily have to be experienced in a committee role, but have the time to give to helping the project in any way possible.
If you would like to make a donation we now have a PayPal account.
It’s so easy to donate by paying in to our account at either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
You can also donate direct to our bank – Bank of Scotland, Erskine Sort code 80-13-53 account number 00663514. If you do make a donation can you please let us know, as we would like to thank you personally.
Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙂
During 2013 we rescued approx 40 animals and have managed to re-home over 20 of them. These include dogs, cats, exotics and small furries!
We need YOU!!
Lamont Farm has been going since 1977 and we need your help to keep it open!
Please take out a membership to show your support and to help us feed and look after the animals. Most of which are rescued.
It doesn’t cost a lot and one of the rewards you get is knowing that you are helping the first ever City Farm in Scotland!! 🙂
Memberships – we’re still here, where are you?! 🙂 We know you have busy lives and we are sorry if we’ve not reminded all you lovely supporters to renew your memberships so here it is! Your continued support is very important to us! Please renew your membership.
For all our new supporters, your commitment to the farm is equally important to us! So come on, become an official ‘friend of the farm’ and take out a membership 🙂
You can also sponsor our animals.
Please speak to our staff for more information.
Family membership £20. This includes adopting a small animal, naming it and treating it as your own (good for those who cannot have their own pet) 🙂
All memberships include free entry to open days! It also helps us feed the animals during the (more expensive) winter months.
Thank you for your consideration and time 🙂
We now have baby change facilities for your convenience.
